In more high school musical news they held a backstage open house before one of the shows. My favorite child stuck her tongue out as she curtsied to the princess (above) and giggled as she was twirled (below) by a “real life price,” (her words, not mine)

The high school musical this year was Cinderella, and the entire town got really into it. real into it. The elementary school principal promised she would kiss a frog if the kids met their reading goals the week of the musical. The kids did so she dressed up like a fairy godmother to kiss a frog. The kids actually surpassed their goals so the superintendent joined in the frog-kissing too. The said frog almost escaped its cage and I’d never heard a room of 6-12 year olds scream soo loud.
