every year this kid has two birthday parties, one for him and one for his heart. this day marked the 10th anniversary of the heart transplant he received as an infant.

This middle-schooler did her science fair project on the effects of shutter speed on picture quality. Even I would have gotten an a on that project. Also noone makes volcanoes for science fairs anymore????
Sometimes the board of elections puts on skits for volunteer workers. Sometimes these skits almost end in cat fights.
Sometimes the biggest news of the week is a new set of murals in the elementary school cafeteria. #communityjournalism

This poor guy was rescued after escaping some guys garage, where he was being kept. Not every day you see extinct animals in these parts.
I I have yet to find someone who finds a school board meeting entertaining.
Children are too noisy for the courtroom. Even when their father is being sworn in as judge. But don’t worry kid, I was getting bored too….
I think I am a better photographer on three hours of sleep than I am on a full night under the covers. Its the only way I slow down.
Sometimes they let the fire department and the police departments throw soft balls at eachother in a game of dodgeball to raise money for Toys for Tots. The firefighters always win.
